Pinhole effect

This is a photo of the building in Bradford. I like it because there's a lot of green on it. I added a pinhole effect in photoshop and it made it look grainy and it also added an effect of movement to it.

This is a college building. I think it's quite good because of the effect called solarization.

This is a fragment of the wall inside the college building. Solarization made it look really old.

This is another one of my pinhole images. I think it looks good because of the effect of movement.

Overlay Textures + border

I tried to use overlaying textures in Photoshop to create a nice effect. I used two photos, one of a building and the second one of a wallpaper (texture). I like it because it looks like the building is getting destroyed, like the wallpaper is coming of it.

I've used a photo of my friend's eye and a photo of the college building. I think it looks very cool and mysterious. I think that the eye should be in the middle and I should of rotated it to the right.

I've used a picture of the two buildings (old and new) and a picture of my friends standing in front of another building. I think it looks like I've put 3 or more pictures together and it makes you look at it and think about it for a little bit longer because you can't really tell what's going on there.

I've used two pictures of the two different buildings. I don't think they look that good together but I was just trying out new techniques and ways of doing it.

This was my first try and I did it for fun, just to see what it looks like. I've put 4 pictures together and I edited them. The background is a building.

I wanted to try it out and see how them two pictures would look like together. I liked the effect, even though it doesn't involve architecture.

I've used a photo of the college building and a wallpaper. I think they look quite good together. The wallpaper makes it look like it's an old photo and it's falling into pieces.

This is my favourite one because I've used two good photos; one of the new and old building next to each other and the second one of a wall inside the college building. I like it because it looks like someone wrote something on the buildings.

I've created this picture in Photoshop. I added borders and changed it to black and white. I like it but I don't think it's special or interesting to look at.

Camera and photography techniques

Sandwich printing (negative sandwiching) is a technique created by putting two negatives into the film carrier of the enlarger and printing them on one piece of paper, creating one image. This technique is usually used to to create a juxtaposition of image elements that would not occur in real life. Sandwich printing works in both black and white and colour images.

Painting with developer ( Chemigram ) is an experimental art. It is a combination of both painting and photography. It requires the use of materials such as light-sensitive paper, developer and fixer.
