Unit 3 Task 1 Cubism

These images inspired me through their use of colours, contrast and composition. They are 10 images and they are all very similar. The only thing that changes is the angle. It is very inspiring and looking at this composition of the images makes you think about every single one of them.

These photos caught my attention because they work well together and they look very different to normal, average photos. Every single one is very eye catching and works well as an individual image as well as a part of the bigger picture. They also caught my attention because some of them are really bright and some of them are dark and they don't stand out as much as the other ones. It creates a good balance.

This image as a whole mood board I've created makes me feel good and proud because it shows that you can put different images together on one page and they can still look good or even better than as individual images.

The definition of the light within the images showed that they were all taken at the same time and the light didn't change but you can still see that there's a small difference between some of the images. Some of them are darker than the other ones and you can see more shadows. Also the purse looks brighter on some of the photos and you can see that artificial lighting was used because you can see a reflection of the light bulb.

Using Photoshop I've changed the size of the images and I've put them all onto one page. I used these techniques because they would've been to big to put them all together. It also made them look better together.

Using this software was difficult because I didn't know how to bring some of the images to the front or to the back. It made it quite difficult to put them all together so they would look like one big image. I dont know much about Photoshop yet and I'm still a bit scared to try to explore it on my own.

The images show that I used different types of the Depth of Field, not just one. It makes it more interesting and every image is different not just because of the angle but because of this too.

The lighting within the image was created mainly by artificial light but I took the photos near the window so I would say there was some of the natural light involved too.

The rule of thirds was used to enhance the concept of good composition and the right angles. They make the images more pleasant to look at.
